WHEN: On August 23, 2008, La Crosse will be hosting the 7th Annual La Crosse Pride Festival. La Crosse Pride is a community based organization that seeks to educate, celebrate, and embrace the diversity and talents of all people. The purpose of La Crosse Pride is to build bridges and develop a community in which all individuals are accepted and treated equally. We also wish to acknowledge and celebrate the unique contributions and gifts of the LGBT community in the 7 Rivers Region.

ATTENDANCE: Our celebration will be held at the South Side Oktoberfest Grounds in Downtown La Crosse. We are expecting over 500 guests of all ages which will take place rain or shine. Even with the extensive rains from last year, we were able to meet our goals of over 300 attendees. We hope to increase that attendance this year with many family activities, informational sessions and quality entertainment including God-Des and She, Ronnie Nyles and others.

BOOTHS:Vendor booths are 10 ft by 10 ft areas with a choice of a picnic table and chairs or a 6’ table and chairs. Additional tables and chairs can be rented or you may use your own.

HOURS: The Fest hours are from 11:00 am – 12:00 am. on Saturday, August 23, 2008. Set up may start at 9:00 am, and should be completed by 11:00 am on Saturday. This year we are offering 2 tear down times (6:00 and 11:00 pm), and are requesting that all booths be torn down by 11:00 pm.
